* My Volcano Excursion (Interactive Map)

Research Interest

As a master's student in the Department of Geosciences at National Taiwan University, my research focuses on integrating LiDAR-based DEM, geochronology, petrology, and geochemistry to reconstruct the eruptive history of Huangzuei volcano. My ultimate goal is to contribute to hazard assessment for the densely populated region surrounding the volcano, where over 7 million people reside. Specific topics are listed below:
  • Volcanology | Volcanic eruption mechanisms
  • Petrology & Geochemistry | Petrogenesis, mineral diffusion
  • Geomorphology | 3D LiDAR mapping
